Filing cabinets, steel furniture & furniture manufacturing.
How it works
Honeycomb packaging protects filing cabinets, steel furniture and finished furniture components during handling, storage and shipment.
For filing cabinets and steel furniture, honeycomb corners protect vertical edges from lateral impact, while top and bottom pads help absorb stacking and handling forces. The lightweight assembly keeps the product separated from the outer corrugated shipper, helping prevent dents, scratches and surface damage without adding significant freight weight.
For furniture manufacturing, honeycomb panels can be laminated between veneer, MDF, hardboard or melamine face materials. The result is a strong, stable and lightweight panel suitable for doors, shelves, tabletops and other furniture components.
Why it works
Lightweight
Reduces the overall weight of packaged units and finished furniture components compared to solid fibreboard, foam or heavy board alternatives.Excellent gluing surface
Provides a reliable bonding surface for veneer, MDF, hardboard and melamine face materials.Custom sizing
Panels, corners and pads can be cut to match exact product dimensions, reducing waste and improving fit.Dimensionally stable
Maintains its shape and structural performance through handling, storage and transportation.Recyclable
Honeycomb products can be recycled through standard paper recycling streams, helping simplify disposal.
Products we supply

Structural Honeycomb Panels
Cut-to-size panels with facing papers on both sides, ready for lamination between face skins. Cell size and thickness specified to meet the structural requirements of the component.- Door panels, shelves, tabletops
- Excellent gluing surface
- Dimensionally stable

Custom Protective Packaging
Every panel is cut to order — no standard sizes. Specify the exact width, length, and thickness required for each furniture component.- Use sheets in-between finished product and corrugate overwrap to absorb bumps and bruises throughout the supply chain.
- Use small pieces throughout your packaging stack-up to fill voids, prevent small pieces from shifting, and allow the packaging to absorb unwanted forces – not your product.
