Pallets & Skids
How it works.
A honeycomb skid is a top-deck platform supported by feet or runners, with no bottom deck plate. A full pallet adds a bottom deck plate for fully enclosed base stability. Both are built to your exact footprint — no overhanging loads, no wasted pallet edges.
Every Axxon order ships from our factory on it’s custom-sized honeycomb skid. We use our own pallets internally because we trust them. They reach the destination intact, weigh a fraction of a wood equivalent, and recycle directly into your existing corrugate waste stream at their end of life.

Full Pallet
Design considerations.
Pallet footprint should match your product's base dimensions as closely as possible. Overhanging loads reduce stability; undersized pallets concentrate load on edges.
Block feet allow 4-way fork entry — suited to standard pallet jack and forklift environments. Full-length runners are stronger in bending and better for dragged/slid applications.
Honeycomb pallets are designed for single-use or limited-cycle use. They are not intended for long-term reuse in high-cycle returnable pallet programs.
For air freight, honeycomb skids provide a significant weight advantage over wood. Confirm weight limits with your freight carrier when specifying height and deck configuration.
No nails, staples, or metal fasteners — safe for environments where foreign object contamination is a concern.
