Furniture manufacturing.
How it works
Honeycomb panels solve the tension between looking substantial and shipping efficiently. Laminated between two face materials — veneer, MDF, hardboard, or melamine — honeycomb creates a composite panel that has the visual and tactile presence of a solid panel at a fraction of the weight.
A honeycomb panel is supplied cut to the required dimensions and placed between two face skins by the manufacturer. The skins are bonded to the facing papers using adhesive. The resulting composite behaves like a solid board — it resists bending, holds fasteners at its edges, and presents a flat smooth surface for finishing — while being dramatically lighter than solid wood or MDF of equivalent dimensions.
Why it works
Significant weight reduction
Lighter than MDF, particleboard, and solid wood. Directly reduces freight cost and improves handling.Looks and feels solid
The composite panel has the visual and structural presence of a heavier material — without the weight penalty.Excellent gluing surface
Facing papers accept standard woodworking adhesives cleanly. Works with PVA, EVA, hot-melt, and contact cement.Dimensionally stable
Resists warping and moisture-related expansion better than solid wood — panel stays flat through its service life.100% recyclable
Supports sustainable manufacturing commitments and green building certification pathways.Custom sizing
Every panel cut to your specific component dimensions — no trim waste on the floor.
Products we supply

Structural Honeycomb Panels
Cut-to-size panels with facing papers on both sides, ready for lamination between face skins. Cell size and thickness specified to meet the structural requirements of the component.- Door panels, shelves, tabletops
- Excellent gluing surface
- Dimensionally stable

Custom Protective Packaging
Every panel is cut to order — no standard sizes. Specify the exact width, length, and thickness required for each furniture component.- Use sheets in-between finished product and corrugate overwrap to absorb bumps and bruises throughout the supply chain.
- Use small pieces throughout your packaging stack-up to fill voids, prevent small pieces from shifting, and allow the packaging to absorb unwanted forces – not your product.
